After School Program

We are proud to offer our After School KMX program as an exciting alternative to traditional after school care.  We offer transportation from Millen Woods, Lester B Pearson, St. Luke and Lexington Elementary Schools.  After School KMX is available to kids who attend other schools as well, but parents must arrange for their own transportation.  Parents can pick up their children after work between 5:00 and 5:30.  On P.D. Days (public board only) we offer a full day of fun activities for After School Program kids to participate in!  P.D. days are included in the monthly fees.
Each After School Program student will be provided with a tote in which to keep their uniform and gear.  On Fridays we ask that parents bring in a clean uniform and take the worn uniform home for washing.

Activities

KMX- Self defense and Life Skills Program start your kids on their way to becoming ‘ready for life’.  Skills require in order to earn belt levels are taught and practiced.
PERFORMANCE FITNESS- Kids performance fitness is fun!  Obstacel courses, plyometrics, medicine balls, stability training and explosive power training are all used to make kids faster, stronger and more athletic.
INDOOR SPORTS- A variety of sports modified for indoor use will be played every week.  Nerf and sponge balls are used whenever appropriate and games are conducted with am emphasis on fair and inclusive play.

Snacks

Students can bring their own snacks or choose a snack from our vending machine.  We encourage students to drink lots of water before and after every class.
We do not allow peanut snacks or sharing of snacks between children.

Transportation

Transportation from your child’s school to our facility is provided by a safe, professional transportation company.

After School Program is open to students in grades 1-6.

Rates

The cost of Km-X After School Program is $320 + HST per month.  Payment may be made by post dated weekly or biweekly cheques OR pre authorized monthly credit card payments of $320 plus HST.  The rate is based on an average of school days over the academic year, it is the same every month. We offer a 20% off discount for a second child from the same family.
If you wish to withdraw from the program at any time you are required to give us either two weeks written notice or payment so that we may fill your space.
There is also a belt and graduation fee of $30 every time your child advances to his or her new belt.  This occurs every 3-6 months.

Enrollment

We require the following in order to confirm your enrollment in the After School  program.

1. Completed Student Information Form and Agreement.  Download Here

2. Payment of enrollment deposit.  The deposit is $200 and will be deducted from your September fees.

3. Post Dated cheques or signed and completed credit card preauthorization form.  Download Here

4. Required Uniform and Equipment  purchased.  Uniform and Equipment packages will be ready for the students on their first day of KMX after school.  Beginner students will need- 2 KMX tshirts, 2 bottoms (KMX pants or shorts or one of each), KMX boxing gloves and indoor athletic shoes (from home).
